Sustainability is also a topic of increasing interest in the printing industry. More and more companies are looking critically at the environmentally friendly aspects of machines or print media when purchasing. Dimix contributes in various ways to making society more sustainable.

Sustainable products

At Dimix, for example, with many of our print media you have the choice of FSC certified variants. Products with this label come from a responsibly managed forest and all links in the product's supply chain must be certified to carry the label. Many of the inks we sell carry the Greenguard Gold certificate. GREENGUARD certification ensures that a product meets one of the world's most stringent and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air, and is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. In addition, we carry a range of PVC-free products.

Sustainable driving to customers and energy-neutral housing

Minimizing CO2 emissions is also very important to us. Therefore, last year we exchanged 5 gasoline cars for electric cars with which we visit our customers. And colleagues who live close to our offices come by bike! In addition, the entire building in Breda is equipped with LED lighting and will switch to solar energy later in the year. In Genk we are working hard on an energy-neutral building which will be put into use in 2021.

Contribution to society

Besides working as sustainably as possible ourselves, we also like to support national and local initiatives in society. Some examples are KWF Kankerbestrijding, the Robocup of KBaO in Neeroeteren, soccer club 'De Kabouters' and the Brederodes in Vianen. With all sponsorships we have a personal connection, which makes the support all the more valuable and personal.
