After its successful launch in price-sensitive markets such as Turkey, Russia and the Middle East, the SWJ-320EA is now available for Europe and Africa. Print speeds of up to 137m2/per hour
The SWJ-320EA is a super-wide solvent printer with Mimaki coretec "mimaki printer "hnologies such as, MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System) and NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), among others. MAPS4 prevents visible streaks (banding) during the printing process. With each print pass, MAPS4 uses a unique algorithm that calculates the most effective way to fire the ink droplets, preventing banding. This pattern constantly changes depending on ink color, coverage and print speed. This feature, in addition to NRS - which ensures replacement of clogged nozzles without stopping production - improves printer performance and increases productivity and print quality for the user. In addition, the SWJ-320EA is equipped with four advanced high-speed print heads arranged in a staggered array that guarantee resolutions of up to 1200 dpi and print speeds of up to 137m2/per hour.
Flexibility and higher volumes
The SWJ-320EA offers the world-class speed, quality and reliability that Mimaki stands for, but now in a super-wide format, equipped with an extremely stable media feeding system and a newly designed tension roller. These features prevent media from waving and provide a high grip for extremely accurate printing. The result is stable, premium print quality. For those who need flexibility and larger volumes, the optional feature of dual roll printing is available. This allows the printer to print two rolls simultaneously (with a maximum width of 1524 mm per roll). With smaller rolls, production per day can be doubled.
Designed to profitably differentiate users, the Mimaki SWJ-320EA is ideal for producing a wide range of large-format indoor and outdoor applications, including POS materials, banners and billboards, displays, transportation and floor graphics. With a wide range of solvent-coated substrates compatible with the printer, users can further differentiate themselves. These include: self-adhesive PVC film, photo paper, billboard paper, blue back, backlit film, banner material and tarpaulin.
The SWJ-320EA uses Mimaki CS100 solvent-based ink, is available in CMYK configuration and offers a capacity of 3 liters per color. The new inks guarantee lower consumption and increased weather and scratch resistance.
