Hofman Sports

The company was once started (in 1977) as a shoe store by Jean-Pierre Hofman together with his wife. This later evolved into sportswear store. The printing of these clothes evolved from this.

Hofman Sport works mainly for soccer clubs (about 80% of the total orders). They take care of the printing of the teamwear, like back numbers, sponsorlogos etc. They used to have transfers made elsewhere, but since the arrival of the Transfer-Jet and Powder-Fix, they can now easily do this themselves. Workwear printing is also among the possibilities. They are also main distributor of the sports brand JAKO.

Besides Hofman Sport a second company is started: Publi Hofman. Sven Evrard is the person who runs this. A special room has been made in the back of the workshop, well isolated for the installation of the Transfer-Jet and Powder-Fix.

Jean-Pierre and Sven came to Sign2Com in Kortrijk in October 2021 to see the Transfer-Jet, there they proceeded to purchase it. The printer has been installed in their workspace since November 2021.

Asked if he likes the printer, Jean-Pierre replies, "I couldn't do without it. For rush orders we can now move quickly, which was not possible before because we outsourced this. The Transfers have good color, come off the backing very easily (compared to screen-printed transfers) and stay on the clothing well."

A Graphtec CE7000 was also recently purchased for plotting.
