Dimix gets ready for the future

That there is much efficiency to be gained in logistics is obvious to every organization. For Dimix, after several acquisitions, it has become a necessity to be able to continue the flow of goods at all with a high service level.

In 2015, the acquisition of Multi-Fix prompted the search for a location in Genk, Belgium, where Multi-Fix's stock and employees were housed at Seinhuisstraat 7. In 2017, Dimix moved into an oversized building in Breda where a beautiful showroom was provided. Where besides a basic place for the extensive Technical Team, also its own stock for the Dutch market is kept in stock.

After the decision to mainly ship media and inks from one warehouse we had to look for a new location. The choice was Genk - Belgium due to the fact that the gravity of logistics had settled there and the price of land was attractive. With two warehouses bulging out by now, we signed a contract for the purchase of a plot of land in the Slamstraat in Genk last January and preparations for the new building could begin. With the necessary efforts and considerations, everything is now ready to be realized. Since February this year the groundworker has started and the construction is now in full swing. At the end of June we expect to start the^2nd phase of finishing and October is reserved for the final move.

With soon almost^{2000m2 of} warehouse space and over ^500m2 of office, meeting & training space in Genk, we are ready for the further growth of Dimix in the Benelux.
