3TAC from Oss has been a leader in creative and innovative illuminated advertising for over 20 years. The company develops, manufactures and installs all conceivable forms of illuminated advertising. Design, production and installation of illuminated advertising and outdoor advertising is customized and is done according to the highest standards in the market. The company is led by René Huizinga and employs 13 people.

Projects

For a relatively small company it has already delivered many beautiful and especially large projects. Floor Timmers, commercial manager at 3TAC, says: "What we prefer to do are large, full-service projects. Unburdening the client completely from A to Z and thinking along in the whole process in order to achieve the best result. We really go for cool solutions for our clients.

We are also quite a technical company, but because of that we can take on many different types of assignments. That makes it really fun and varied."

The Gym Society

A great example is the project completed for The Gym Society. "We pasted photos ( D-Line Photo Fabric - P3839 ) on large, sliding, wall panels there, an aluminum beam frame was placed in front of these photos. These beams are taped over with a wood print on high tack vinyl ( mac tac WW300 - WallWrap P4256 ). This gives it a very natural look. Depending on how you stand in front of the wall panels, you see much or little of the photo behind. In addition, the windows that face the outside are also plastered with Contra Vision ( Contra Vision HD Performance - One Way Vision - P6697 ). This gives you a nice print on the outside and allows you to see right out from inside."

NIDO Student

"We were also recently able to complete an extensive project for NIDO Student. This is typically an example of a full-service project where we were able to completely unburden the client. From the lettering on the facade at a height of 80 meters, to the design, printing, pasting and installation of all internal signage in the NIDO flats in Groningen and Utrecht."

Traditional neon advertising

3TAC is one of the last companies with a glass studio on the premises for making neon advertising. "Neon still remains a very beautiful and sustainable illuminated advertising solution. We see that companies often choose it as an art form as well. For example, hanging the logo in Neon in the entrance above the counter, which is really an eye-catcher!"

Developments in the market

"These days we notice that we are increasingly competing against online providers. In quotation processes we are compared to these providers who claim to give the same quality and service, while there are often small print or snags. We are always as open and honest as possible in our quotations and assignments. Honesty lasts the longest, our vision is that this is how we always win out over this online competition."

Collaboration with Dimix

3TAC is originally a Sihl Direct customer. Martin Wuijster, Sales Manager at Dimix (formerly Sihl Direct), has been visiting them for several years. Martin: "It started several years ago with the purchase of an OKI. Since then we have had weekly contact. With requests for (larger) projects we often have contact. We discuss which materials can best be used, give advice so that they can also advise their clients again."
