Polymer PVC - White matt - Extra strong gray polyacrylate adhesive - Thickness approximately 75 µm - For long term applications on flat and difficult to adhere substrates (up to ±7 years outdoors)
A premium matte polymeric digital printing film with UltraTack adhesive designed for long-lasting adhesion even to hard-to-stick or low surface energy (LSE) substrates. White matte finish, 75 µm thickness, with up to 7 years outdoor durability.
This film is designed for difficult, low surface energy (LSE), rough or structured surfaces, such as polypropylene, galvanized steel, structured plastics, untreated or poorly painted surfaces, concrete or building panels. The UltraTack adhesive coating provides strong initial and long-term adhesion to these surfaces, which many standard films have difficulty with. For coatings that do not adhere at all or unknown substrates, testing is still recommended.
Yes. One of the advantages is that the initial adhesion is excellent even at low application temperatures - down to 5°C. This makes it suitable for early morning, late evening or cooler seasons where many films would have poor adhesion. Proper surface preparation (clean, dry, free of oil or dust) remains crucial for success.
The film is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV-curable and screen printing inks. Please note that insufficient drying or curing of the inks (for ink-based prints) may adversely affect the adhesive properties of the film. Always ensure that inks are fully dried/cured before exposing them to moisture or laminates.
The matte finish reduces glare/reflection, which improves readability and visual appeal, especially in bright light or when viewed from an oblique angle. For designs where light reflection or gloss would distract from colors or legibility, matte is preferable. It also tends to hide small surface imperfections better than gloss.
Up to 7 years with vertical exposure, in climates similar to Central Europe. In harsher climates (strong UV, high heat, salty air, etc.) the service life may be shorter. Lamination or overcoating can extend the durability.
Store rolls at room temperature (15-25 °C) and a relative humidity of about 50-60%. Store them vertically or in racks designed to avoid pressure points. Shelf life until use is up to 2 years from production date.
Not strictly necessary - the film by itself performs well for outdoor use. But for additional protection against mechanical abrasion, UV fading or extreme weather conditions, a compatible overlaminate such as ASLAN PremiumProtect SL-17 or SL-18 (matte) is recommended to significantly extend its life.
Yes. Classified under DIN EN 13501-1 as B-s1-d0, which means it is flame retardant according to this standard. Useful for installations where fire safety is required.
The "G" version refers to gray pigmented adhesive, which improves coverage on colored or high-contrast backgrounds and helps reduce see-through or underlying colors. The white UltraTack/DFP08 version uses transparent adhesive. For very difficult surfaces or extremely low-energy paints/coatings, ASLAN's MonsterTack (DFP05) offers even stronger adhesion.
When applied to aluminum and held at 70°C for 48 hours (on a 25×25 cm test piece), the film exhibits a maximum shrinkage of about -0.45%. For most applications, this is small and acceptable, but should be taken into account for large, curved or heat-exposed surfaces.
